The 1500 model has a huge rope capacity of up to 200 metres of 6 mm double braid rope, spliced to 10 metres of 8 mm short link galvanised anchor chain, making anchoring in deep water a breeze. The 1500 is powerful enough to haul up a 37 pound plus anchor all day. The Viper 1500 is our fastest and most powerful drum winch in our range with an amazing fall rate of 55 metres per minute! All you have to add is your own cabling or one of our custom made Bell Marine tinned copper marine wiring looms and you will never have to break your back pulling up your anchor and chain again! Please note: 1 metre of 3 BandS Cable is already attached to the motor with cable joiners at the ends for ease of installation (1500 Watt winch has a 3 cable setup, see our wiring diagram).
