Funky Friends Party Animal Sewing Pattern Finished Size: 42cm (17 inches) Funky Friends Party Animal would make a brilliant gift for anybody of any age. His crazy look makes him such a unique pattern to try out and it is definitely worthwhile it as you’d get a little toy friend to cheer you on by the end of it! He is an unjointed toy which has been designed with memory toys in mind. His large tummy and sides are great for displaying t-shirt logos, and his wide chest area is perfect for messages like “Happy Birthday” or “Congrats!”. Embroidery machine grid marks are included on his chest, tummy & sides. The party hat pattern is also included! His hair can be styled long or short but the longer it’s made, the wilder he looks. Materials you will need to make Funky Friends Party Animal:- Main Fabric – 33m x 55cm wide (13 inches x 22 inches wide) Contrast Fabric – 24cm x 37cm wide (9½ inches x 14½ inches wide) Body Fabric – 33cm x 40cm wide (13 inches x 16 inches wide) Face Fabric – 20cm x 28cm wide (8 inches x 11 inches wide) Nose Fabric – 10cm x 10cm wide (4 inches x 4 inches wide) Faux Fur – 12cm x 24cm wide (5 inches x 10 inches wide) Craft Card (Hat) – 10cm x 16cm wide (4 inches x 6½ wide) 20mm Safety Eyes Red embroidery thread for mouth – 50cm (20 inches) Elastic/Ribbon (Hat) – 50cm (20 inches) Toy Stuffing Sewing thread Iron-on light/medium weight interfacing (this is needed only if you are using thin or very stretchy fabrics or, if you are using a mix of different types of fabrics) Equipment you will need:- A sewing needle & pins Fabric scissors with a fine tip Paper scissors Fine tipped fabric pen or a pencil Craft Glue & firm card for the templates (cereal boxes are fine!)
