Hi Angela, We take quality and safety very seriously and do not want anyone to have a Mary Meyer toy they are not completely satisfied with. Safety is of vital importance to our 87 year old family business. This toy, and all Mary Meyer toys pass all required US safety standards. We produce thousands of toys and occasionally, one has a flaw. We hope you may provide some information for our production manager. This will help us track the problem.
