Paddy Irish Whisky Mini 0.05L Paddy is the whisky that made the Old Midleton distillery famous. Until recently, it was the only whisky in southern Ireland that was spelled without the letter E in the word whisky. It was named after the traveling salesman Paddy Flaherty, who ordered Old Irish Whisky from Cork Distillers at every inn on his travels. Innkeepers began to use the name 'Paddy Flaherty's whisky' for this drink when they reordered additional supplies. It is said that it was once a very heavy whisky, but today the lighter pure malt from Midleton is used to make it. It is a relatively light whisky with a warm nutty malt aroma. Made from light, pure malt, which is thus more pronounced in its character. A lighter Irish whisky.
